Happy Easter with Black Grouse!

This Easter image was produced by a guest who stayed in April three years ago. A talented artist, she produced this watercolour having enjoyed a very special experience watching rare Black Grouse lekking near Langdon Beck in Upper Teesdale.  Lekking is when groups of males gather at traditional sites early in the morning to attract the interest of Black Grouse females with their weird and wonderful courtship displays.
