Winter Wonderland

Luckily we have escaped the flooding which has and still is devastating many parts of Cumbria, despite the usually gentle mill race roaring through the patio at Millstream last weekend.

This morning I looked out of the window around 11.15am and saw that it was snowing, and large snowflakes came floating down all afternoon.

The weather was calm and  just as dusk fell I looked out again and saw the snow laden branches of the churchyard trees creating a ‘winter wonderland’.
