Last minute summer breaks

Between the rain and showers, we’ve had some lovely sunshine.  Here are a few images of recent strolls around Alston taking in some of the back lanes.

And this coming week the weather is forecast to be mostly dry, breezy and bright, with just the occasional shower and on the cool side for the time of year, but ideal weather for walking. Whether you fancy a gentle riverside stroll or an invigorating hike over the moors, we have walks to suit everyone right from the doorstep.
